These are some shots i took in my gran-mama's studio.
I wanted to remember things just as she left them.
Her studio was a place you could "FEEL"...

it was ALIVE!
Alive with a soaring spirit...
abounding creativity...
flowing inspiration...
a deep LOVE!
Holding her near me today as i set out to take on the day.

WOW. How lucky you are to have these photos......
precious.
what a wonderful memory for you.
i love that painting in the middle with the pink church. :)
Your grandmother was so talented. Mine was, too. She could do any kind of needlework. She was amazing. And I miss her, too. I know how you feel.
Love the paintings...now her memory can live on within you!
i love it...what a legacy.
Thank you so much for sharing! what wonderful memories. Have a great tuesday.
Big Hugs, Lanny
i've been talking a lot about my grandma to the kiddos lately and jack came home wanting to watch a clip of annie's first day of kindergarten when he was talking funny...it was right after annie's birthday party where my grandma was sitting right there in the chair of our family room...seeing that shot of her & hearing her voice took my breath away for a second...the holidays coming up should definitely be harder this year, but so great that we have so many wonderful memories to reflect on...
sending you hugs...
What a great memory. I love the last picture.
no wonder you are the way you are.
exposure to creativity is nothing short of magic. a gift, indeed.
These photos are great, Carissa. So special... I love the painting of the church. :) ~Jill
The paint brushes start off the story. It is great that a smell, thought or picture can take you right back there.

This reminds me of my mom. I used to love playing with those gummy erasers when I was little.
