okay... so i said the other day that i felt relaxed... "it would all get done"... "was not worried"...
TODAY... i am feeling a bit of the pinch!
a BIG... HARD... pinch!
There are only nine days left...
but when you have to throw the postal service & shipping in the mix...
it's a whole nother KIT & KABOODLE!
I am still waiting on shipments to COME IN... with gifts i need to get wrapped & OUT!
And to make matters worse...
our Christmas cards...
were guaranteed to be here by the 12th...
today would be the 16th...
they are NOT here!
The company HAS been wonderful about the whole thing but... ugh...
had i known this i would have made it a HAPPY NEW YEAR card too! :)
i am just like you today... trying to balance it all...
still being mommy...
making patches for NEW JEANS that had holey knees...
and facing the fact that the clock is TICKING...
like it or not...
those hands are MOVING!
Thinking of you ALL today...
SERIOUSLY...
because when i am standing in line...
in a crazy kind of way...
it makes me feel good knowing that you are probably doing the exact same thing! :)
Here's to standing in line
while WEARING a smile... FEELING the Christmas cheer & SIPPING on a latte!
big 'ol xo!

I am thinking a nice hot latte, would make me a bit more jittery than I already am today - NINE DAYS LEFT!!!!! oh no!
I'm right behind you in line girlfriend, I will catch you! if you fall, but something tells me you won't=)
much love!
One big stressball here sista'! Feeling your pain - totally! I'm ready to get my toes in the sand come Friday though. I know it will all float away come then. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Just smile, spin, and leap gur-fren! :)

hang in there...it'll all get done!
we've never had to do the knee patch thing...i guess because my kids outgrow their pants in the length so quickly we never get to wear them long enough...annie is a skirt/dress girl so she only owns one pair of jeans that she'll sometimes wear...she'll learn!!!
take a deep breath & keep sippin'
I know, only 9 days! I can't believe it. I almost have my stuff done- at least that is what I am telling myself. I really want to rest and enjoy my week off for Christmas. LOVE those jeans!
blah, blah, blah......the only thing i can think is HOLY COW! NICE LEGS GURL..... ;) thinking bout you while standing in line at post office.
Panicked... here... I have the children's gifts for school to wrap.... nursing home items to deliver and our picture of the kids has not been taken... each night slips by without the picture I have had planned... (Late is good cause family and friends will still be happy to get the picture in '09) :o)
but still feeling holidayish!!!!!! :o) cause it's Christmas!!!
happy evening,
LuLu
Doing pretty ok...not going crazy just yet. I love the heart patch!! Totally awesome but won't work on boys jeans drats!
today i began to feel the crunch.
i am feeling sick with all there is still to do.
all the packages that are not here yet.
the christmas cards i haven't even though to touch yet.
the baking that is not started.
the "piles" that are still there!
ugh.
so yes....just like you.
but you have cuter pants.
:)
Today was just crazy. I have been singing the last few weeks for three different clients and have sung a total of about 80 hours in three weeks; thanking God for the work, but just so dang tired, and in between that, put on a benefit concert. Tonight I was completely overwhelmed when I got home. Our weather got bad..we were planning a night of frantic shopping for our family that is from our inner city church and we just quit it all, made a fire, cooked some burgers on the grill in the snow and put on some Chris Botti and called it a night at 4:45. It is 11:00 and I feel rested and relaxed and like I let the "season" in. Thanks to your blog. You inspire. Continue what you do....love what you do.....and let's just promise each other to just enjoy the season....
blessings....
Oh I so know what you mean!! I still need to stand in all those lines. I really really need the energy to get out there. And I have so much sewing to do! I love those heart patches. I've been looking for a fun way to patch Kurt's youngest girls jeans, she fits 6's perfectly but not ready to move to 7's yet and had a lot of pants a couple of very very cute jeans that are starting to get holes in the knees. Anyways.. post pictures of your other patches, LOL, if you ever fine time!
Lots of strength and energy to you the rest of this week!
back to ya babe! xo
those would be Campbell's cute legs! :)
HELLO... i am taller than that!
lmao about the campbell/carissa legs....in my defense i thought you were way cool to wear heart knee jeans....
and i just thought it was a weird angle.....still laughing.
Love the heart patches!

I LOVE those jeans! They would look great with a pair of roller skates!
I feel the pinch, OUCH!
I'm at a point with my stress that I'm a bout to hyperventilate... I don't even work and I'm running out of time for everything!! I'm not managing my time well... but what's new?!? Girl... when you were here we helped each other!!! I'm lost without you... I mean literally lost and can't get it together, sistah!!
