corndogs & kettle corn

Well... I decided to go to the fair in my boots...
and so glad I did!

next time... the little gals will be in their rubber boots

I have a thing for pigs!
I know they're messy... but I love em!

look at that precious face!

a quick nap before my trot in the ring

buckled up for safety

up up up up up

weeeeeeeeeee

pretty in pink

brought to tears as her lamb was auctioned off...
so happy... the buyer sent the lamb back home with her

now that's a COWBOY

this little gal was so flipping cute

she wasn't looking... this swine took her by surprise

tickets please

round & round on the ferris wheel

little face of joy

heading home with her prize

The weather couldn't have been better!
We saw snakes... a crocodile... a big ugly lizard...
a 100lb turtle... precious bunnies... goats...
chickens... turkeys...lambs... cows...
piggies... little dogs in clothes...
and ALL kinds of folks!

It was a fun day at the county fair... by golly!

Our fair comes at the end of August...we'll be going to see the pigs too!

Glad you wore your boots...you're just too cute! A girl from Texas has to wear her boots!

Oh, those boots- can't take Texas out of the girl. And the poor girl crying- I just wouldn't be able to handle it. AND, what did you strap you sweet angel to?

What great pictures! They remind me of Charlotte's Web.

awesome pictures...i love the one w/your baby holding daddy's hand in line! a keeper!!

and i can SOOOO relate to the girl crying over her lamb...i was a 4H girl back in the day and raised show lambs. my first year, i cried & cried inconsolably over my lamb "BO" being hauled off to market...the year after that, i learned not to get so attached, and it was better! my hubby raised pigs & yep, they are quite the mess!

what a fun time!
