i have been digging deep lately... pondering... wondering... praying!
i know that this time of year moves in with an instant NEED to purge...
start ANEW... look at things with a FRESH eye!
well... i have been looking at things with a fresh HEART too.

i want to make room for my dreams to GROW!
widen the fork in the road to a MERGE!

sometimes it is scary to take the leap!
to cut the dry away & allow the NEW to sprout!

how to KNOW whether the new sprouts will be as sweet... as savory... as gratifying!

that's just the thing i suppose... if your feet never leave the ground... you never take the leap!
you just have to jump!

is there anything you too would like to pull up... to make room for new?
do you have a pocket full of seeds that just needs to be tossed?

My goodness, is somebody trying to get a message through to me today or what? Between this and what Karen (Chookooloonks: http://www.chookooloonks.com/blog/2009/2/26/love-thursday-trust.html) wrote on her blog today, I think the Universe is trying to tell me something.

Thank you for the food for thought and much needed inspiration!

Namasté,
Carmen

i constantly feel like i'm in limbo with various decisions...but in particular one involving our family growing;) i think as moms we're always trying to make sure we're doing what we need to for our families, our husbands, and trying to add in ourselves too!

praying for all of us!

Oh my dear! I'm in the middle of huge crossroads...which one to choose...do I dare make the leap of faith? Fear of failure is so deep and I don't want to be rejected...It's so scary...but if other women are brave enough...what makes me any different!

Jump!!

yep, we are!! just nervous about do we want to "rock the boat" so to speak, or go for it! some days i'm like, yes, yes, yes other days, i'm like, well, how will we handle this/that & the other...probably thinking too much about it!

hey, when you get a chance, will you let me know about your camera/lens?? inquiring minds would love to know:)

I love these words.....really making me think tonight:)

Can't stop looking at the picture!

Wouldn't it be fun to go on a weekend with a bunch of girls all with our cameras and just take pictures of Gods wonderful creations?

hello carissa!
i love your style, girl. the photo and the analogy are great. you know, i'm one of those who has saved dried flowers from meaningful events. i taught myself how to not do that; it was the event that was meaningful, not the dead flowers. now, i think, i need to teach myself how to let go of those dried flowers i've kept in my heart. time to clean it out and remember the good. as far as seeds, for now, i think i've sown mine. now's the time for nurturing for me, to grow up my babies and continue to encourage the growth of their character... ut-oh. this is getting long. i think i'm blogging on your blog! (sorry!) :)

Yes! Time to weed out the old in this heart of mine to make way for the new seeds that need to be sewn!
Your words are appreciated today, Carissa! Thanks....

So inspiring, indeed...but as I try to look inward I get an uneasy feeling knowing that I am not sure I can alter what I am doing or take on another project...I hate that feeling. Did I say yesterday that I needed to get off the computer....hello, Gini. Maybe you'd get some stuff done. Thanks for always making me think.
