tall enough...

to DO THE DISHES!

Would you look at that!
It hit me last night when she was bringing her
bowl to the sink...
wait a minute...
come over here...
YOU'RE TALL ENOUGH!
have I got a new chore for you!

SO EXCITING!
BUT... sort of crazy...
she can REACH!
I used to bathe her IN the sink!

see

she wanted MORE dishes

lil bit... not quite... she pulled up a stool

I'm all for chores...
think it's SO important for them to...
learn to do it THEMSELVES...
pitch in & help...
have the responsibility...
feel the pride!

Here's to a fresh new week!
I'm hoping for BIG things...
I have still been working with my trainer
three times a week & doing cardio the others...
I think my bod must be in total shock because...
I've flipping GAINED weight!
I KNOW that sooner or later
something HAS to give... RIGHT?
Like my husband said...
"your building muscle under all that fat"...
WHAT...
next time I want nicer words! :)

BIG week...
BIG expectations...
BIG hopes...
I'm believing in BIG blessings!

that is awesome, girl!!! i need to add in some strength training to my "regimen" but there just doesn't seem to be enough time!! i'll get there...you are inspiring me!

our kiddos DEFINITELY help...even at 8, 5 and 3 years old...they don't wash the dishes, but they do have to bring them to the sink, scrape/rinse them off & put them in the dishwasher...then they help w/unloading it when it's done...i'm not much of a dishwasher myself;)

keep movin' & shakin'!!!

I am ALL over kids doing chores....do I follow through on that request??? That is the question. I am showing my kids this post. On a side note - keep with the trainer......I know what you are going through.....it IS all worth it in the end.

Hey my beautiful friend. How are you???!? I miss talking to all my blogging buddies. I love love this blog post.

I can not wait to see your amazing bod and its coming debut! You are my new super hero and ahh I so need to follow in your footsteps. hehe.

I defiantly agree ... BIG Week.. BIG expectations... BIG Hopes... and BIGGGGGG Blessings. Un and Expected GREAT THINGS. I was reading about Faith today at a deeper level. The centrion man knew that He only needed one word from Jesus in order for His servant to be healed... I'm praying and walking in that Faith and posturefor us!

Love ya my sweet friend!

Kudos to you for working out with a trainer. I gained a few pounds at the beginning too, but then lost like 5 in one week. Your body will figure it out. Hang in there..

Thanks for visiting my blog today!!

I'm sure Cheetos has SOME kind of nutritional value... right? That's too funny. You need to start a "Not Me Monday" next week.

Teach her laundry next. Very cool! Our oldest boy has been rinsing and putting in the dishwasher...he's learning...I have to raise those boys right!

By the way....I have been running since May and I'm now up to almost 7 miles...and I have GAINED weight too! BUT, big but, and not butt, I have definitely seen the muscle developing under my fat too...hubby gave me the same response...we just have to keep up at it and the fat will come off...It just has too...after all our hard work!!

Way to go girl! Keep it up! I'm proud!!

I used to have a step stool to do dishes! My next in line sister and I alternated nights. I didn't like it at all! We had 6 people in our family so it always seemed like a ton of dishes. I grew up in an old farm house so no dishwasher either! Something funny though - MY DAD told me that the only way little girls get big girl boobies (someday) is by washing the dishes like they are supposed to and then they grow from all the water you get on them. HAHAHAHA! He's hilarious. I bet I was Campbell's age when he told me that!

Your husband sounds like mine! You don't have "all that fat" anywhere - but it is true that the muscle will make you jump in weight. I'm in a tough spot lately coming down off all my stress this summer! The 15 pounds I lost have reappeared! Not good. Not good. I'm gonna tell you that I am 5 ft 4 and pushing 150! Not really 150, but I weight about 145! I'm going with the muscle theory!

I think you have a rockin bod and a super beautiful face too!
